Precyse coders often have the opportunity to work on multiple clients and learn
multiple systems. For coders on the road, changing environments, new people and
new processes offer a wealth of variety. Our road warriors in addition to our on-site
and remote colleagues have the best of both worlds: support from the Precyse team
and support from the client.
The Precyse Coding team consists of more than 250 coders located across 35 states.
Each coder receives a full orientation and remote colleagues receive the benefit
of 100% new hire QA to ensure they are learning as they progress in their skill
sets. All Precyse coders also benefit from having access to a state of the art online
training program called Precyse University.
In addition, ongoing support is available to each coding colleague. Your manager
will be your primary contact for all of your needs including troubleshooting client
issues, arranging an effective work schedule and making sure you always have work
waiting, even when transitioning to a new client.

your horizons by learning a new skill set, mentoring new colleagues, grasping auditing
techniques and providing peer education.

What we look for:
- A minimum three years’ experience coding patient records in a hospital HIM department.
- A thorough knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology
- A current AHIMA credential.
- Coding candidates are given a skills assessment to identify their strongest technical
skills so that we may more closely match their expertise to one of our opportunities.
