Medical Coding at Precyse

"I love being involved with a company that's ahead of the curve... leadership, education and recognition... they allow me to do what I do best... code!!"
– Felicia T.
Medical Coding Consultant

As a medical coding colleague at Precyse, every day is a new and exciting challenge. Whether you are on the road or at home, it is a constantly evolving work environment. Precyse coders often have the opportunity to work on multiple clients and learn multiple systems. For coders on the road, changing environments, new people and new processes offer a wealth of variety. Our road warriors in addition to our on-site and remote colleagues have the best of both worlds: support from the Precyse team and support from the client.

The Precyse Coding team consists of more than 250 coders located across 35 states. Each coder receives a full orientation and remote colleagues receive the benefit of 100% new hire QA to ensure they are learning as they progress in their skill sets. All Precyse coders also benefit from having access to a state of the art online training program called Precyse University.

In addition, ongoing support is available to each coding colleague. Your manager will be your primary contact for all of your needs including troubleshooting client issues, arranging an effective work schedule and making sure you always have work waiting, even when transitioning to a new client.

Career advancement opportunities are numerous and include the opportunity to broaden your horizons by learning a new skill set, mentoring new colleagues, grasping auditing techniques and providing peer education.

Working for Precyse Coding Services is seldom boring and colleagues are constantly supported by a great team of managers. The company works hard to provide top-notch education, keeping colleagues prepared for yearly coding changes. Precyse offers a yearly allotment to each coder colleague so that they can purchase required reference materials. Further, Precyse is serious about preparing its teams for ICD-10 and will offer an intensive ICD-10 preparation program so its work force will be trained and ready when the time comes. Precyse strives to keep its colleagues engaged; the company values their opinions, but most of all, values them.
